Our Handcrafted, All Natural, Wood-Fired Organic Maple Syrup Is Produced On Our Farm, Located Deep In The Appalachian Valley Great Lake Region Of Pennsylvania. It Is Hand-Packed For Freshness And Exceptional Flavor At Our Farm. Organic Maple Products Vs. Non-Organic We Always Get The Question Whats Not Organic About Maple Syrup ? For The Most Part, I Tend To Believe That All Maple Syrup Producers Make Their Maple Syrup With The Upmost Integrity. But There Is A Difference Between Organic And Non- Organic Maple Syrup. In Order For Us To Label Our Maple Syrup As Certified Organic We Had To First Apply And Go Through A Thorough Inspection Of All Our Sugarbushes, Sap Gathering Points, Neighboring Lands, Our Sugarhouse And All Equipment, Our Commercial Kitchen Areas, Our Handling And Packaging Practices, Our Bookkeeping Methods, Etc. This Inspection Had To Be Done Before We Were Approved By Oeffa To Be Certified Organic. This Also Means That We Will Be Inspected Regularly And Audited. Certifying Our Farm Organic Means That We Do Not Use Any Chemicals Or Pesticides Nor Do The Neighboring Lands. We Do Not Use Chemicals In Maple Syrup Tapping, Production Or Cleaning. We Do Not Over Tap Our Trees. We Leave A Very Small Footprint In The Sugarbush. We Work Very Hard At Producing The Finest Quality Organic Maple Syrup At Our Farm For Your Table And Ours.
