In Katarenga, each player must advance two of their figures past the opposing players baseline to win the game. That may sound easy, but the opponent is flexible and dangerous. The abilities of the playing figures change from one move to the next. Players must identify the advantages of these possible actions while making clever use of those different strengths to outsmart their opponent.
