This one-of-a-kind saree is a soulful fusion of Japanese Shibori
and ancient Indian Ajrakh block printing, brought to life over
five slow, intentional months by master artisans from India's textile heartlands.
Crafted on luxuriously soft fabric, it carries the fluid resist patterns of
Shibori and the geometric depth of Ajrakh, all bordered by a striking Lagdi Patta
design that ties tradition and elegance together. But what truly sets it apart is
its subtle imperfection a black ink spot near the pallu. Not a flaw, but a blessing
in disguise. In many artisan communities, such a spot is deliberately added to the
most beautiful pieces, believed to ward off the evil eye and protect the energy
of the artwork.
The saree is dyed using 100% natural colours harad, pomegranate peel, indigo,
and jaggery each hue deepened by time, sun, and alchemy. The result is a fabric
that feels as alive as the hands that made it.
