Administer 10 mL by mouth to ages 6 to 12 and 20 mL for those 12 and above. Each dose of this long-acting cough medicine for children provides up to eight hours of cough relief. The cough formula features the active ingredient Dextromethorphan HBr, a cough suppressant, to help control your child's cough, so they can get the sleep they need.
