Kali Jeeri is also known as Bitter cumin and the seeds have a sharp bitter taste. It is mostly used to regulate blood sugar levels.
Kali Jeeri (Centratherum Anthelminticum) also spelled Kalijiri & Kaali Jeeri is the seed from the Centratherum Anthelminticum plant. Not to be confused with cumin black cumin or nigella sativa. This is a different spice altogether. It's a popular combination of ajwain and fenugreek.
